Can I use Roku outside the United States of America?

What countries can Roku be used? Philippines?

You can use a Roku device anywhere, but if you're not in a supported region many features and apps won't be available. Netflix works pretty much anywhere, but many of the other services don't allow their apps on Roku devices in regions not officially supported by Roku. The Philippines is not a supported region. You would probably be better off with a different device.

In addition to what renojim mentioned, even apps that work may not have the same shows available. You may not see shows you see in the US, but may have shows you do not see in the US.

  There is no NordVPN app for Roku, since it does not run Android. The only way to get a VPN with a Roku would be if it's on a hotspot or router.

  Roku officially does not support or condone using a VPN to bypass regional limitations. Any further discussion about VPN use will get you banned here.
