Can i sync an old roku stick remote to a TCL Roku tv

Is there any way to sync an old roku stick remote stick remote to a TCL Roku tv without having to buy a new 

remotes

    LukeK2689 If the old stick remote has a power button, volume controls, and a pairing button it should work.
