My TCL Roku tv which has been used before, then crashed has been repaired and has to be setup again will not get past the software update screen to complete the setup. I am wondering since it is already linked to my account if we are not able to set it up again. Any ideas?
As you go through the initial setup don't connect it to your network (there's some option to do it later). It should then be back to being a dumb TV. You can try updating it again from Settings->System->System update. There should be two methods provided with and without the TV connected to the Internet.
You may have to factory reset it again if it's stuck in some kind of update loop.
