Can I make operation of a Roku TV easier for an 88 year old senior?

I watch over an older gentlemen in assisted living.  We purchased a Roku TV for him but it is terribly confusing for him to turn, select “live TV” from the menu, then select a channel.  Is there anyway to set the Roku TV to turn directly on to a channel (or a select group of channels) and by pass the menu altogether so it is like a traditional TV?

    Thanks for sharing your inquiry here with us. For the time being, since the Roku platform offers a vast range of streaming platforms, there isn't a direct opening of the Live channels. The only way to access Live TV Channel Guide is directly from The Roku Channel, or from the convenient Live TV app on the home screen of your TV.
