can’t hear people speaking can only hear sound effects

I’m watching a show through Roku’s “Live Tv” and the show i’m watching is only playing the sound effects from the show?!?!? I can’t hear anyone’s voice, it’s only background noise and effects. The clicks, transition swooshes, swear word bleeps, boings and phone sounds, but no voices!!?!? What’s happening here?

    Happens occasionally that the audio track gets mucked up. (normally able to hear background/music/effects, but not the main audio/speech).  

    Normally, I just look to see if the content is playing on another channel/app.

    What movie or show were you trying to watch? (and on what channel on the LiveTV)?
