Can’t connect TCL TSR1 to Roku Select TV

I bought a TCL TSR1 Roku TV soundbar and I cannot figure out how to wirelessly connect it to my 43” Roku Select TV. I’m following the TCl instructions to plug in and turn on the soundbar and then holding the soundbar reset button for 10+ seconds. When I select wireless soundbar from the Roku tv it never is found.

There are no audio inputs on the TSR1. Are they just not compatible?
