Both Roku devices stopped working same time. Won't connect to wireless, but hotspot works?

How?

  • Jaywood32991 Both devices losing network connection at the same time really points to something changing in your WiFi access point settings. You didn't identify what Roku devices you have, so we have to guess if they are using 2.4 or 5 GHz WiFi. Since the devices are working on the hotspot, that means there's no issue with the Roku devices themselves.

So for starters: do your Roku devices see your WiFi, and just not connect, or are they completely missing from the selection list? If they see the WiFi but won't connect, check your 2.4 GHz radio and make sure the mode is set to B/G/N, not G/N. If you don't see the WiFi at all, check the channel setting for both the 2.4 and 5 GHz radios. On the low band, the channel must be 11 or lower, preferably 1, 6 or 11. On the upper band, the channel must be 48 or lower, or 149 or higher.
