Bluetooth Headphones not auto connecting with Roku

My issue was fixed a week or so ago with Software Version 12.0.0 build 4184. I'm using Bose QC35 II's.
I have spent 2 days trying to connect newly purchased "Pocbuds" earbuds, T60 to Roku 55" Plus Series TV, and the TV cannot find them. Pocbuds website says the Bluetoothe version must be higher then 5.0 and the Bluetoothe on the Plus Series TV is 2.0 version. Could this be the reason the earbuds will not connect to the Roku Plus Series TV? Or can anyone tell me how to pair Pocbuds to the Plus Series TV if they have one. Thanks
