Backlight went out element roku

Had the Element Roku for only 2 years and the backlight went out causing the screen to be completely dark but still functional.

    Devinfloyd94, you're not alone.  You'll see many, many reports of the same thing with all of these cheap TVs from several manufacturers.  Since it's not still under warranty Element won't help you and it was never Roku's responsibility since they didn't make the TV.  If you're handy, you may be able to find the required parts online to repair it yourself.
