Background Image Change Now remotes dont work

Is anyone else having this issue. Since yesterday the background image changed on the startup screen and now none of my remotes work. I have tried new batteries, nad resetting the stick and other units still it is dead as a post. Did Roku do a software upgrade prone to issues or what. Now all 3 of my tv remotes will not work. I am not happy at all. Give me back the old purple screenand ditch the orange screen.
