Audio Distortion on TCL ROKU TV when Screen Mirroring / Casting from Windows 11 (HP laptop)

When I cast / mirror a video from my HP Laptop (Windows 11) to my TCL Roku TV, the video will play but the audio becomes very distorted to the point that I can't listen to it.  The videos I'm casing are lectures, so nothing very intensive, but the voice becomes very deep and slow to the point that it's not understandable.  What's causing this and how can I fix it?
