Ambient display on YouTube

I absolutely HATE the ambient display on YouTube. Does anyone know how to disable it? I looked under all settings and found no options. FYI,  I am not signed in. I prefer not to attach my emails to YouTube. Does the settings change if you are signed in?  Thanks!

    For channel functionality, you'll want to reach out to the channel provider directly to inquire further. They may be able to assist in disabling this feature on their end.
