Airplay screen mirroring stopped working immediately after automatic software version 14.1.4

I use airplay screen mirroring almost every day.  Yesterday when I tried it software version 14.1.4 build 7709 was automatically being installed.  I waited for it to finish and then tried screen mirroring from my ipad.  It looks like it is connecting and then bounces back to the airplay screen.  Audio works just fine.  I have tried all of the trouble shooting tips I have found and nothing seems to work.  Is there a way to fall back to a previous build?

    Software update: Navigate to Settings > System > Software updates > Check Now.

    If your device is up to date, you can perform a system restart by navigating to Settings > System > Power > System Restart.

        Can no longer mirror iPhone 14 Pro  with latest OS to my tv via Roku 3 4230 series with Roku software 14.1.4

      Could you tell us the exact behavior of the Airplay issue? If it is possible, could you also provide a photo or a short video clip that will describe what you're experiencing?

        Unfortunately, I am unable to use my iPhone to record the response on my TV and iPhone simultaneously, but the first link below displays the response on my iPhone.   Basically, when my iPhone attempts to Airplay on the Roku, my TV screen goes blank, then after a few seconds the attempted Airplay disconnects on my iPhone as can be seen in the video and the Roku displays the image in the second link.  Hope this helps.

        Note, I can successfully Airplay with my other two devices, the “Bedroom” device is an older version Roku, the “Roku Express” is the device I just received. All devices are on the same local network.

    • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and Software Version. (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
    • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button five times, followed by the Back button five times, and provide us with this ID)

    I own two Roku Premiere’s. Both need to be rebooted before Airplay will work to mirror my devices (iPhone and iPad). The Roku’s are 5 years old. I am thinking I may need to upgrade to new Roku models. Has anyone else had this issue.

        We noticed this happening about 3 months ago. To get it to connect as I say I have to reboot Roku. I am living with this but very frustrating. Sorry I didn’t provide a video but hope you can help.
