Airplay not working on roku express 4k.

Airplay will work in my roku tv but not roku express 4k. Both have the same software versions and builds but the express does not come up as an option to mirror from my phone. I have been through every forum and help desk for the past 2 days.

Have you tried performing a system restart and then trying to connect your devices once more to see any improvements? if not, then we recommend performing it by navigating to Settings > System > Power > (skip if not available) > System Restart.

      I have done multiple restarts on the device and also iPhone. I can control the device through the roku app but cannot mirror via airplay settings.

        I have done multiple restarts with the device, tv, modem, router, ios device. My phone never finds the device. It does however find my other tv that is a roku tv.

    Thanks for the update and for sharing with us those steps you've tried.

    When you say it is not working, is this a playback issue you're experiencing, or unable to find your device when accessing AirPlay?

    In addition, to the information you provided previously. Could you also share with us the details below?

    • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About
    • Mobile device brand, model, and OS
    • tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID).

    This will help our team better understand this.
