After factory reset my roku 3 will not sync my remote

So I have a roku 3, I plugged it in and it was working. It was in my son's room prior. So I did a factory reset, and not I can't see to get the remote to sync no matter what I do. Changed out the batteries 3 times, I've held the sync button longer, I've unplugged this device and plugged it back it still nothing.

Model number 4200x

Serial number 1gj37k162228

Remote model is rco3
