    Thank you for the feedback — much appreciated. You're absolutely right that INI files are a bit old-school by today’s standards. I chose to use one mainly because it’s simple and transparent, especially for users who might want to tweak settings without digging into the Registry or using special tools.

    By the way, I’m not a developer — just a regular user who got frustrated that Roku no longer offers a free remote control app for PC, so I decided to build something myself.

    I see no mention of how/where to download the app. I'm surprised a developer today still uses an INI file. Microsoft moved to Registry based setting storage 20 years ago. But I do know the benefits of an INI file as I used them myself for some programs I wrote more than 20 years ago. Much easier for a non-computer geek to modify if needed.
