4800x remote not connecting

I have reset, unplugged, paired remote and it goes to the let’s get started screen but remote pair button is still flashing and remote will not work, but it is still able to turn the TV off.  The other 4800 in the other room isn’t working at all! This device is a piece of junk and customer support is impossible to contact.

We understand that you would like to pair your remote to your Roku device and we're here to assist you with this.

Have you tried plugging the Roku stick into a different HDMI port? We highly recommend attempting a factory reset on your Roku device since it is your first time activating it.

The physical Reset button is located on the back or bottom of your device and is either tactile or pinhole-designed. Once you locate the Reset button and your Roku device is powered on, press and hold the button firmly for about 10 seconds. When the factory reset is complete, an indicator light or status LED will blink rapidly on most Roku devices.

After performing a factory reset, please attempt to pair your remote by following the steps below:
    • If your voice remote has a pairing button, it will be located either on the back of the remote or under the battery cover. Press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds, or until you see the status light begin to flash, to put your voice remote into pairing mode.
    • If your voice remote does not have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home buttons for 5 seconds or until you see the status light begin to flash.
