14.5.4 Build 5944 Causing weirdness with Sound System

Ever since the update last week, my Sony sound system has been acting oddly.   I have it using "Auto" which wines up picking eArc. I used this so I could use the Roku remote to control the sound.  This has worked great for years.  All of the sudden after that 14.5.4 update, every time I change inputs, it causes the "source" on my speaker system to change to something that nothing is even on.  I have to use the speaker system remote to put it back to the correct source.  And then it re-breaks when I go back to the main TV.

Was this a bad update?   I've tried rebooting everything.   I've turned the power off for both.   I'm sort of at a loss.
