Wireless doorbell chime going off on its own?

We recently bought a wireless video doorbell, just this past Saturday. It's been fine but them the chime wasn't going off so I reset it and now the chime is just going off on its own with a notification that someone rang the doorbell but no one is actually ringing the doorbell.

  • Hi ErickaLT,

Thanks for the first post in the Roku Community!

We're sorry to hear about the experience you have had with your Roku wireless doorbell. Also, we appreciate the troubleshooting steps you've taken to try to resolve the issue.

We would first recommend restarting your Roku Smart Home Doorbell to see if that helps with the issue you are experiencing. If that doesn't work, we would recommend trying to perform a factory reset on the Roku Smart Home device.

Please keep us posted if you are still experiencing an issue, and we will be more than happy to continue assisting you. We look forward to hearing your response.

    All the best,
    Chel
