What happened to motion tagging

Why in the **bleep** has the motion tagging option been removed on the roku cameras?! I like seeing what the **bleep** its detecting, and only my 360 camera has the option anymore.

    Hi Jolinar,

    Greetings from the Roku Community!

We want to update you about your concern regarding motion tagging on your Roku Camera.

Our Roku-appropriate team has confirmed that the lack of motion tagging is by design. This feature is no longer available for Roku Cameras with firmware version 6.0 or later. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to reach out if you have any further questions.

    Cheers,
    Riamie

    Hi Jolinar,

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community! We are glad to have you here.

We are here to assist you today regarding your concern about the Motion tagging being missing on your Roku camera settings. No worries, we are here to help.

Motion tagging is not removed from the Roku Smart Home cameras. If this is missing from your Roku camera, we recommend you try the following:

    1. Ensure your Roku Smart Home app and device firmware are up to date
    2. Uninstall and resinstall the app
    3. Try again to turn on motion tagging
      > Tap Home from the navigation bar
      > Select your camera
      > Tap More
      >Toggle Motion tagging

For more help, please visit our Roku support article: How to adjust motion detection settings on your Roku Smart Home camera or video doorbell

We hope you find this information helpful. Please let us know if the issue persists.

    Cheers,
    Riamie

Well i knew Uninstaller and reinstalling the app would be a complete waste of **bleep** time. It changed NOTHING. Everything was fine with the tagging until my cameras apparently updated then it stopped showing it and I couldn't remember where the option even was. My 360 camera is the only one doing that like it should and I found the option ON THAT CAMERA but it is NOT there on the normal cameras, as shown in this screenshot, and yes I hit update on the camera as well it again changed nothing, so something y'all must've done that removed the **bleep** option

        Hi Jolinar,

        Thank you for your response.

We would like to take a closer look into this matter. Are you unable to see the "More" option (three-dot icon) on your Roku Cameras? This option is where you'll find the Motion tagging.

If it's still not there, please send us a screenshot of the screen so we can investigate further. Also, provide us with the following details:

        • Model of the Camera
        • Roku Smart Home app version
        • Firmware version of the Camera
        • Log ID:  (pull up your Roku Smart Home app home page > select Account > Roku Support > Submit a Log)

We look forward to your update!

        Cheers,
        Riamie
