Video playback freezes app

Yes I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times, maybe close to 20 times. Video playback will freeze the app immediately. Live footage works with no issues. Is there an actual fix or is the best option is to return the cameras and move to a new company? 
Note: I did notice there was an update for the app on iOS 6 days, which seems to be the around the time the issue started.

    We would want to learn more about the problem you were having with the Roku camera since the video kept freezing. Are you trying to access the previous recordings? Are there error messages or codes popping up when viewing? What is the version of your Roku smart home app? Have you tried to use a different phone and see if the issue still occurs?
