Unable to connect new camera after DL the app. Doesn’t recognize the QR code

Ive download the app, followed the instructions on both paper and app. Unable to connect to the Bluetooth. States it’s not recognized when I scan the QR code with the camera. What am I missing?

    Welcome to the Roku Community and thanks for posting regarding getting your Roku Smart Home.

    When trying to scan the QR code, have you tried moving the QR at different distances from the Roku Smart Home Camera, as well as trying different angles to see if that helps the issue you are experiencing?

      I tried scanning at different angles and distance. Played with the lightning cause i was determined to make it work for the past 3 hrs. And I get the same connection timed out scan QR again. I'm just going to return this thing. It does not work even on a 2.4 wifi. Trash!

        We appreciate you letting us know about this issue. We'd like to see how we can get you started.

        Could you tell us more about this? How far is your camera from the router? Also, have you tried rebooting your router and then trying again to see if you're still seeing the same issue occur?
