Sounds in camera while listening or playback on video

I’m having the worst time with the noise I hear when I have the sound ON my two Indoor Cameras. Not only can I hear what’s going on but I can hear LOTS of things… almost as if someone has tapped into our system. Even when I play it back , it’s heard. That specific noise is nowhere around me, no tv on etc. I am very aware of white noise and this isn’t it. Anyone have a suggestion on how to get it to clear up, or just what to do next? It’s almost to the point I want to get rid of them. Thanks !

It terms of recorded events. If you feel as though events are being recording unnecessarily by the white noise, you can go into your cameras settings. From there find Event recordings look for Record Sound Events, and turn that setting off. Doing this will hopefully lower the amount of event recordings that might not be unnecessary for you to have recorded

You could also go under detection settings. You’ll see two levels you can control. One is sound detection sensitivity. This should give you some level of control over your recordings and the white noise that could potentially trigger a event recording

With updates to the operating system and as new Roku camera are hopefully eventually rolled out I would expect this issue to improve

Hope you found this post helpful and at the very least you’re not alone

I wish you all the best. If you figure out anyways to make improvements please make a post to let us Roku camera users know
