Smart Bulb use outside under an entryway

Can Smart Bulbs be used outside? The area I have in mind is under an entryway to my house. It is out of direct rain but it could get damp.

    We can certainly understand your concern that you want to know if you can set up the Roku Smart Bulb SE outside. 

    Please be advised that you can install a Roku Smart Bulb practically anywhere, most preferably inside your house.

    • Note: Do not use your smart bulbs:
      • With a dimmer switch
      • When directly exposed to water
      • In a narrow or poorly ventilated fixture
      • As emergency lighting
