ROKU Video doorbell so it stays charged

Can I hardwire my Roku video doorbell so I dont have to keep removing it to charge it, In otherwords can I get permanent power to it or is that not a good idea?

  • Hi Dolphinlover,

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!

We noticed in your post that you want to hardwire your Roku Wire-free Video Doorbell and get it permanently powered. We would be more than willing to provide you with further details.

If you would like to replace your Roku Wire-free Video Doorbell and hardwire it, refer to the setup instructions for the Roku Video Doorbell and Chime. If you are not comfortable working with electrical wiring, you may want to hire a licensed electrician.

We hope you find this information helpful.

    Cheers,
    Riamie
