Roku Smart Home - add a 2nd doorbell user

There doesnt appear to be a way to add another user to the account so they can also check their phone to see who is at the door.

Are there plans to support this in the future?  The doorbell isn't very useful for us unless everyone in the home has a way to check it from their phone.

  • You can add the Roku smart home app and sign in with your credentials on your relative or roommates phones. Thats what I did with my family.

Honestly I would rather not share my credentials with guests (Airbnb, nosey relative, ex partner). Would like to be able to grant access and remove access. Hopeful this will eventually occur. Really enjoying my cameras.

Agree. By using your same credentials on another device(s) I’ve found it tends to lock up playback events, error codes if user(s) don’t exit app completely when done. Guessing app can’t manage simultaneous single user login. It’s happened to our family several times

Agree. Roku needs to have a home owner (admin feature) then allow admin to add family/whomever as members. I do find this to be a major con. Hope they will add this.
