Roku Indoor Cameras have only one video recording

Why does my camera have the same issue where it will send more than three notifications at the same time of the same event, but only the last one works? Video playback doesn’t work. I can’t see what’s going on. I press record, and it says it’s recording, but it’s a still image.

Have you checked if all of your Roku Cameras have a subscription?

To video record an event, you must have an active subscription for your Roku cameras. Since only one recording out of three is a video recording, we recommend checking your subscription on the Roku account website.

Also, check the photo below to see the two types of Roku Camera subscriptions.

    Hope this helps.

  • I have three devices - Wireless Doorbell Camera and 2 Outdoor Wireless Cameras.  Upon setup all three were recording events.  Then after a few weeks the 2 cameras stopped recording.  I was finally able to get one to work properly, but then a week later my doorbell stopped recording events.  I went through all of the numerous steps given by support.  Finally was able to get the doorbell to record events, and the outdoor camera that had been working stopped recording as soon as the doorbell was working.  ALL HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE IS UP TO DATE…I HAVE AN ACTIVE SUBSCRIPTION.  Any other tips someone would have?  My next option is to just get rid of this and go with another security system.  Thanks!

      Hey Lorilb

      Thanks for reaching out!

We get that your two Roku Cameras are not recording events, and we're here to help. Could you please confirm what Roku camera subscription you have, if it is Roku Camera Subscription or Roku Plus Subscription?

For more information, please refer to RokuRiamie-D's post above.
