Roku Indoor Camera set up

I recently purchased the Roku indoor cameras. Do the cameras work without being plugged into the wall socket? I’m having issues with connectivity after unplugging the cameras.

We'll be more than happy to assist you further with this issue that you had with the Roku Indoor camera SE. Please be aware that you might need to power on your Roku Indoor camera SE. First, attach the small end of the USB cable to the power cable on your camera making sure not to force the connection. The connector is keyed to only attach one way. Next, attach the other end of the USB cable to a wall outlet using the included power adaptor, or connect it directly to an available USB port on a computer or another nearby device that provides 5V/1A.
