Roku Doorbell issues, not a 14 day free trial..
I installed (wired) a Roku Doorbell on Sunday. First off, the 14 day free trial is bull**bleep**, after 4 days I was sent a notice that the free trial is over so I had to subscribe!! I go into the app and while there is mention on other posts about have a detection area, I only have Motion detection sensitivity (Low, Med, High). I have it on high and it does not detect any person walking in front of my house, even though I have Person checked off (as well as everything else) under smart detection. It will catch someone after they are coming up my steps towards the front door. Although there have been times that a package "magically appears" at the door (no person is seen making the delivery!) I have to turn off vehicle notifications - it gets every car that passes by but not a person in sight. And to boot I seem to have a phantom bell (my inside original bell) that rings very lightly in the background for no reason like it's a windchime lol. To say I am not impressed by this Roku doorbell is obvious. I had an old Ring doorbell that I was not happy with and thought this would be better. I am still not happy.
Thank you for staying in contact and sharing the extra details, Mcat12!
We will be more than happy to assist you further with this issue that you had with the Roku doorbell camera since it was not detecting the motion of a person. Please try to remove the Roku doorbell camera, and re-set it up back again.
