Outdoor floodlight stays on in daylight.
I have an outdoor floodlight. I just noticed the light is on in the daytime. Is that normal?

Hello! GcG1,
Thanks for the question,
We appreciate you for letting us know about the behavior you are seeing with your Roku Outdoor Floodlight. We're pleased to assist.
If the Roku Outdoor Floodlight is not turned on manually, there might be an issue. We can try some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.
Troubleshooting:
- Confirm the Roku Smart Home app is up to date.
- Confirm the firmware for both the Roku Camera and the Floodlight is up to date.
- If there are any Schedules or Rules, delete them and recreate them.
- Check the settings to ensure they are accurate:
- Under the Floodlight’s settings > Floodlight Control > change to Auto
Power cycle:
- You will need to flip the breaker to the OFF position. Wait 5-10 seconds, and then turn the breaker back to the ON position.
- This will power cycle both the Floodlight and the Roku Camera.
If the issue still persists please perform the additional troubleshooting steps
Perform a factory reset:
- Floodlight: Delete the device from the Roku Smart Home app and set it up again like new.
- Roku Camera:
- If there is a microSD card inserted, remove it.
- With the Roku Camera plugged into power, press and hold the setup button on the bottom of the camera for 10 seconds. This will reset the camera.
- Wait at least 30 seconds for the unit to initialize.
- This process can take up to 5 minutes. It's rare, but it's possible.
- The LED status light on the device will change from Solid Red to Flashing Red.
- The device is now ready to be set up again.
Please keep us updated on your progress and we'll be happy to help further. We look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Arjiemar
