We appreciate you for letting us know that your Roku camera is not video recording events. We would be more than willing to sort this out for you.
Let's see if this will work for you.
- Ensure your Roku Smart Home app is running the latest software version
- Uninstall and reinstall the Roku Smart Home app

When logging back in after you reinstall the Roku Smart Home app, I suggest you try the following:
- At the app's log-in screen, do not click "Sign in as" when the email address is already filled in.
- Instead, click "Use a different Roku account" at the bottom.
- Enter the email address (use the same one as it showed up on the previous page).
- Enter the account password and hit Sign in.
- This will sign in as new again and bypass the saved credentials.
After logging back in, leave the smart home app/lock the phone trigger motion on the camera and see if you will get an event recording now.
