We understand you're experiencing issues with the Roku camera that has no sound. Thanks for attempting a workaround to fix the problem. 

Consider trying these steps: Update the Roku smart home  app

  1. Open the App Store on your iOS device and search for "Roku Smart Home mobile app" or visit the online App Store to download the latest version.
  2. Open the Google Play store on your Android device or visit the online store to download the latest "Roku Smart Home mobile app".
