How to Download videos from doorbell cameras to iPhone?

HAD A RECENT EVENT HAPPEN. NEIGHBORS FROM DOWN THE STREET VERBALLY ATTACKED MY WIFE AND MYSELF ON OUR FRONT PORCH. THE ROKU DOORBELL CAMERA CAPTURED IT ALL. DEFINITELY TOLD OUR STORY CORRECTLY TO THE POLICE WHEN THEY ARRIVED. NEED TO SAVE THE VIDEOS INDEFINITLY FOR POSSIBLE COURT PROCEEDINGS. ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO DO THIS? THANKS.

    Download and share event recordings

    You can share and download recordings in the smart home app. Downloading a recording will save it to the gallery on your mobile device. Sharing a recording will prompt you to select an app and then generate a message with the recording in the selected app.

    1. On the Home screen, tap Events
    2. Select the event
    3. Tap the Download or Share icon

    Have you tried logging out and logging back into the application? If you haven't given it a try yet, kindly follow the steps below:

    • To sign out of the app: go to the Homepage, click on Account, and select Sign Out

    After completing the process, please sign in again with your Roku credentials and check for any changes.

    If the issue persists, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the smart home app. Let us know if this resolves the problem.

      I have an Android & don't see a DOWNLOAD button.  I signed out & back in, too.  What can I do?

    1. Open the Roku Smart Home App: Ensure that you’re using the updated app version, as updates can sometimes improve download functions. You can usually find the latest update in your App Store, or follow this link for the updated app.

    2. Locate the Video: In the app, go to the "History" or "Events" section (it might be labeled slightly differently depending on the version). Find the exact clip you need; most apps organize them by date and time.

    3. Download Option: Once you’re viewing the video, look for a download icon (usually an arrow pointing down). If you don't see this option, Roku’s app might require you to select “Save to Device” or a similar prompt. This should start downloading the file to your iPhone’s Photos or Files app.

    4. Alternative – Screen Recording: If the app doesn’t offer a direct download option, you can use the screen recording function on your iPhone as a backup method. To do this:

      • Swipe down from the top right corner (for newer iPhones) to access the Control Center.
