How long does it take to set up?

I've been waiting 20 minutes at the screen "getting your camera ready" I've restarted and deleted app multiple times how long is it supposed to take? Should I be patient I have the indoor camera se with one leg . Bought at Walmart.

    Sure! Here's a shorter version of the reply you can use:

    Setup should only take about 10–15 minutes. If you're stuck at "Getting your camera ready" for over 20 minutes, something's wrong.

    Try this:

    • Make sure you're on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (not 5 GHz)
    • Use the Roku Smart Home app (latest version)
    • Hold the camera 5 inches from the QR code
    • Restart the camera and your phone
    • Wait until the light turns flashing blue or solid blue

    Still stuck? It may be a Wi-Fi or device issue—try resetting again or contacting Roku Support.

      Yes I did that, I put the Wi-Fi in an everything and now it's at the "checking for updates" screen that also says "getting your camera ready" the light is turning every single color I'm so confused... It'll turn green then turn back to yellow.

        It should not take 20 minutes to load when the camera is updating during the setup process. Have you tried restarting your modem and mobile phone? We also recommend that you try to reset the camera by following these steps:

        1. Unplug the USB cable from the back of your camera
        2. Wait 10 seconds
        3. Plug the USB cable back into the power input port on your camera
