How do I download a camera video to an android phone?
I need to download a video from my camera to my android phone but can't find instructions on how to do this.
Hi Candlefreek,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
We're here to provide you with a step-by-step process for downloading an event recording from your Roku Smart Home app to your Android phone. Please check the details below.
Download/Share Events:
- Open the Events screen
- Tap the recording you wish to download/share
- Once the recording is playing, Tap the recording again
- Tap on the upload button (Arrow pointing up out of the box) to send the video via email, text message or other ways depending on the phone/tablet.
- Tap the download button (Arrow pointing down into a box) to download the video to the photo storage app on the device.
“Albums” Access to Photos/Videos
The photos/videos taken from the app are stored on the phone memory in the Android or iOS photo storage area. The “Albums” feature in the app can also access the stored pictures/livestreams that were taken from the app.
- Open the Home screen
- Select your Camera
- Tap on More
- Tap Album
- Select your Video
- Tap on Share
We hope you find this information helpful.
Cheers,
Riamie
