Floodlight camera stopped working after last firmware update

I've had a floodlight Cam for many years now. It is the only one cam that has worked consistently well over the last 4 years (I have 10 other cams). But Roku had to mess it up. The firmware was updated a couple weeks ago and now the floodlight has stopped working and the floodlight settings have been removed from the app, so I can't even manually turn the light on or off anymore. I am so frustrated with Roku security systems. They release app updates and cam updates and it always screws things up for a month or more until they debug it. They don't ever let us know that they are making changes before hand, so sometimes you don't know you have a problem for weeks after their poorly executed updates. I'm seriously going to look into a whole new company to use. There must be someone better than this.

  • I just noticed today that the floodlight settings are gone, and my floodlight now refuses to recognize there is a SD card in it. I'm not sure how much longer I will be keeping these cameras nothing but problems.

      It seems like you're also experiencing an issue with the floodlight camera. 

      Could you share what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far? Also, the firmware of the camera  (Tap your Camera > Settings > Device Info > Firmware Version)

  • I have had the same problem. I spent an hour on phone with customer service. They said they would turn it over to the programmers. Very frustrating. The cameras worked great until the update now they are terrible. Doorbell camera is fine. It is just the floodlight cameras. No change for the better so far.
