Floodlight camera SE lights and sensor work but no camera power

Bought 2 floodlight camera SE in May. Installed by electrician during home build. 1 works perfect. Other one lights & sensor work but appears to be no camera power. Setup doesn't work, no status light on camera either. Tried the reset instructions several times, hold for 10 seconds etc. killed power/breaker reset several times, etc. & no resolution.

  • Hi Messer,

    Greetings from the Roku Community!

We understand you're concerned about the Roku floodlight camera SE's status light not showing up. We're happy to help. Please try to factory reset the camera by following the steps below.

    • Before performing this step, we should ask the user to submit an app log. (from the Roku Smart Home app, select Account > Roku Support > Submit a log)
    • Floodlight: Delete the device from the Roku Smart Home app and set it up again like new.
    • Roku Camera:
    • If a microSD card is inserted, remove it.
    • With the Roku Camera plugged into power, press and hold the setup button on the bottom of the camera for 10 seconds. This will reset the camera.
    • Wait at least 30 seconds for the unit to initialize.
    • This process can take up to 5 minutes. It's rare, but it's possible.
    • The LED status light on the device will change from solid red to flashing red.
    • The device is now ready to be set up again.

Hope you'll find this useful and keep us posted if the issue still persists.

    Best regards,
    John
