Door Bell activate smart light?
Yes I am actually deaf. So no amount of Chimes or pounding on my door will alert me. I was hoping maybe I could have the doorbell turn on one or several smart lights to let me know someone is at my door. Is this a possibility?
If the smart lights are ROKU, then yes. The app allows you to create rules that can have 1 device trigger others.
I have mine setup to do exactly that. When the doorbell is pressed, the foyer light comes on. Then I have another rule that turns the light off after 5 minutes.
