Delays and timers as action

It would be nice if a simple "wait" action was one of the types that could be added to rules... I.e. make a shortcut that turns on outdoor plug for 30 mins.
Action 1: turn on outlet 1
Action 2: wait 30 mins
Action 3: turn off outlet 1
Simple.
Shouldn't need to reach out to IFTTT for simple operation... You have timers already in the power switch screen, but very cumbersome to use, have to turn device on, then set timer each time for it to turn off. But it shows the app already has background thread/scheduling for timers and actions...
