What is the best MP4 editor to create content

What is the best MP4 editor to create content. I'm using Pinnacle Studio 23 to import/output videos. The problem is that Pinnacle Studio 23 has way to many options for exporting videos. I'm just looking to import MP4 videos and export MP4 videos editor. Any suggestions for best editor.  Thanks
