Star button on RokuTV remote

Hi -

I'm testing an app on RokuTV and the app uses the star button to bring up options. However, on RokuTV, the star button brings up TV options and does not allow access to our app's options. Is there any way around this, or any suggestions about how to handle it on RokuTV?

    The * button should only bring up the Roku TV settings when you're playing full screen video. This is the same behavior as the captions dialog on other Roku models. If you're using a custom video player, then you could "trick" it by making the video player's destination rect one pixel smaller than full screen, but I'm not sure if Roku would let you get away with that in a public channel.
