Software ver 7.0 - Video Won't Start

Got ver 7.0 build 9037 on my home Roku 2 XS tonight, now my test channel, based on the videoplayer sample from the SDK (and still totally vanilla, just paths to Brightcove hosted videos added) now fails to start any video, M3U8 playlist or mp4.

Test channel works fine on various others Roku models and previous software across my work and home.

What changed in 7 that needs fixed?

    Scratch this - I'm a dummy, this Roku was set to 4:3 because I just moved it from a CRT, and was trying to play HD content - I do wish the failure message gave more of an idea what exactly was happening, instead of "Video request failure" in the debug output.
