SceneGraph focused documentation and forums
The current documentation and forum content is very understandably skewed toward the wealth of Roku information prior to the emergence of SceneGraph. SceneGraph content is there, but there's a lot of content that must be discarded to locate the detail you need.
For example, if you're keen to get on top of changing screens, the first section of the documentation, the Developer Guide, has information on working with screens:
https://sdkdocs.roku.com/display/sdkdoc/Working+with+Screens
That page comes with the warning that it "applies to non-Scene Graph based channels only", and provides a link to controlling the screen program flow:
https://sdkdocs.roku.com/display/sdkdoc/Controlling+Screen+Program+Flow[/url:2tybnke1]
Not having to bear the cognitive load of sorting between the two schools of thought would make the whole process so much more enjoyable.
Is there any chance we can hope to see a shake-up in these two crucial Developer tools?
