Save an installed application

Hi to all of you roku devlopper,
a months ago a freind of mine did install for me an application that he devlopped and we have install it in my 1st roku, I did purchased a new roku and i would like to
install the same app in my second roku, is there any way to save or to transfer this app from roku 1 to roku 2 ?

    If you link the new box to the same Roku account as the old one, all your currently installed channels will also appear on the new box.
    Channels are tied to the account, not the individual Roku.

    If the channel was side-loaded onto your box, then you'll need the source to install it again.
