RSS feed in videoplayer, not simplevideoplayer

I would like to link a video RSS feeds to the videoplayer, not the simplevideoplayer. I've seen comments saying it can be done, but I cannot find examples. Any help would be appreciated?

    Maybe you should look at the MRSS Template since that does RSS feeds already.

    The only problem with the MRSS template is I can't add in the XML categories that I already created for the simplevideoplayer template. Any other suggestions?
