Roku TVs - app crashes at start up

It seems that some of our users are having problems on Roku TVs where our app crashes immediately after displaying the splash screen. Our app doesn't have problems on regular Roku devices. Is there something fundamentally different about Roku TVs that could be causing the issue? Unfortunately we don't currently have access to a Roku TV at the moment to investigate.

Any ideas?

    Nothing fundamentally different on RokuTV.

    You are also not giving enough info about your channel to make a random guess even. One thing that comes to mind is that last week my RokuTV has upgraded itself to firmware 7.1, where my standalone Rokus are staying on 7.0
