Roku streaming without a Channel

Hello,

New Roku developer here. I was using ConnectSDK to stream to Roku devices and it allowed streaming without having an associated Channel installed. When you began a stream the Roku said "Play on Roku" while it loaded.

Question 1) Is there still a way to stream to Roku without an associated Channel?

Question 2) Is there a way to initiate a stream to Roku and have it automatically install the appropriate Channel (without requiring the user to install the Channel manually beforehand)?
