Roku Freezes while uploading application under dev in 6.1

Upgraded to v6.1 a couple of hours ago. Roku freezes abruptly while uploading an app under dev via Eclipse for about 3-4 minutes and then resumes sometimes, and sometimes does not. wasn't happening before. is the problem with the new firmware?

    What is the build version of your firmware, model of Roku, and how large is the file you are uploading? Does it use 2D APIs, or standard Roku components? Also, how many channels do you have installed on your device? Do you have a lot of games?

    model no: 4200x-roku3,
    software version : 6.1build 5604,
    file size : 888 KB,
    yes I am using 2D APIs and not the standard roku components,
    total of 13 channels including one being developed right now,
    only one game installed , tetris
