Awesome, better than I'd have hoped.
Cheers! - TheEndlessChannel SurferNot sure why they tweeted it, but didn't post it here, but they've posted some Hello World tutorials on the blog...

Ah, they're copying me! π
These are good for showing how to use a few different components quickly, and get people up to speed on some user components. My tutorials are definitely aimed a bit lower than even these.
There's one or two other tutorials floating around out there, maybe there should be a sticky thread created (or the "How do I start developing channel" thread could be cleaned out a bit. - RokuChrisRoku Employee

I think we started talking publicly about our dev blog a few weeks before you announced yours, but the more the merrier π I agree we have slightly different audiences. The goal of the developer blog is to give people who already have basic programming knowledge the information they need to accomplish specific tasks using the Roku SDK.
And, we just published a new post all about adding preroll video to your channels. http://blog.roku.com/developer/2011/06/ ... r-channel/ - kbensonVisitor

Yeah, I was just joking about the tutorials specifically, not the presence of a blog (I doubt I'll ever being claiming first in that category :).
Good job on the pre-roll tutorial! - bandalVisitorIs the Blog live? No posts since November?
- RokuJoelBinge WatcherWinter hibernation π
- bandalVisitorHere to in Colorado. It would be nice to show on the blog a section on integrating episodes into videoplayer that has all the settings for movie playback. Just a way to click an icon and switch to an episode layout and a xml part that shows both movie type and episode type together.
Thanks.
