Repeating an m3u playlist?

Using the videochannel sample and the multi live sample channels, I'm able to get each to play an m3u playlist. I need to know how to

1. make the m3u playlist loop ... and 
2. Is there a way to make the playlist begin where it left off when viewer exits the channel and then comes back the next time to view.
